Douglas Turner is an advisor with LPL Financial, and President of Forward Financial Strategies, LLC, a financial advisory firm serving clients in Colorado and other parts of the country. Douglas specializes in orchestrating the key areas that comprise financial success: accumulating and protecting assets, planning for and living in retirement, minimizing taxes, managing risk, and facilitating estate plans. He has proven particularly valuable to clients who benefit from his rare combination of business management and personal financial planning experience.
Douglas has a B.A. in History from Arizona State University and an MBA from the Thunderbird Graduate School of Global Management. He has served in various management and consulting roles with Ernst & Young, and as a U.S. environmental and trade negotiator for the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
Personal:
Douglas lives with his wife, Bobbie, and two young children, Benjamin and Emily, in Englewood, Colorado.  He loves the mountains in all seasons – skiing in the winter, and camping and hiking in the spring, summer and fall. He returns to the east coast often with his family to see clients, friends and relatives.
