President Awards

2009-2010 Rotarian of the Year Award

Thomas Jefferson High School Teacher and Interact Club Sponsor, Danny Showers, was nominated for the Rotarian of the Year in 2010. Mr Showers has been instrumental in his dedication to youth at TJ in all that he does. He lives Service Above Self and he does it all for children. Thank you Mr. Showers for all your years of hard work at TJ and for our Interact kids, especially.

2006-2007 Presidential Awards

Bob Steiert, President, (outgoing) performed one of the last duties of the 2006-2007 year by awarding plaques to the following people for their Rotary-style dedication and determination to make a difference one person at a time:

Steve Warden - Outstanding and Dedicated Service to The Rotary Club of Denver Tech Center for his multiple years as Secretary

Ben Miller - Outstanding and Dedicated Service to The Rotary Club of Denver Tech Center for his multiple years as Treasurer

Peter Hughes - Rotarian of the Year Award for his work on water and youth-related projects

Kelley Evans - Rotarian of the Year Award for her work on our annual Auction Fund Raiser
